We arrived in the town of La Serena early on Saturday, March 15 (6:00AM). We organized a room at a small family hostel. The mother of the house is a cobler and suposedly makes Chile's cutest shoes. When we arrived, the hostel was full and we ended up staying in the son's apartment; it worked out really well. (unfortunately, we didn't visit the shoe-maker).Maria's Casa
